This glorious red Edelweiss throw in pure wool felt is adorned with a beautiful alpine floral wreath in the centre and little floral sprays on each corner.  An abundance of delicate cream, blue and green Alpine flowers are appliquéd and hand embroidered in the old fashioned way with blanket stitch, chain stitch and French knots and he edges of the throw are blanket stitched with contrast thread.
