The Old Cotswold Legbar, first bred in the early 1900s, is a cross between Leghorn and Barred hens. As well as a smart coat this hardy, predator-savvy hen is a great egg-layer, producing either pale blue or green eggs, as well as occasional white ones. Collecting wild bird eggs is illegal, however The Chocolate Detective enthusiastically encourages the delectation of these exquisite, though not necessarily twitcher-accurate, chocolate eggs. Includes six of each, blue and green eggs.
